When scrolling in the Character panel or dragging type from the Type tool, you can control autocorrection behavior for individual characters. You can also control the placement of the previous and next character under the inserted character by setting the selection behavior in the Character panel or Options bar.
The Layers panel in Photoshop enables you to work on multiple layers simultaneously. With the Character panel you can quickly identify and replace characters. You can also resize, transform, and mirror individual characters and type layers.
Embedded in a layer can be any type of object. When you find the correct object(s), simply go to Object > Convert > Object to outline (or vice versa). This lets you quickly create a vector version of a raster image or text.
The Background panel lets you quickly update any part of your canvas background. Note the Background panel is not part of the Layers panel but is in its own section in the panel. You can toggle the Background panel into view by pressing the spacebar.
With the Character panel, you can quickly create raster versions of layer text. The previews in the Character panel enable you to edit the characters and customize them for the font you are using.
A premium pack was released as a replacement for the initial pack on February 26th, 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 releases, with a PC replacement released on March 12th, 2013.
